CCTV Camera Online Viewing Procedure.
For transparency and safety, our cameras can be viewed remotely by authorised stakeholders using Hikvision’s iVMS-4200 software. Because a public IP address is cost-prohibitive, we use this software-based approach instead.
Use these credentials to log in.

Get iVMS-4200 from a trusted source.
Choose either the official Hikvision link or our shared Google Drive copy.
Step-by-step instructions.
Follow these steps on a Windows computer with internet access.
Install the software
Double-click the downloaded file to start the iVMS-4200 installation wizard.
- Tick “I agree to the terms in the Software License Agreement.”
- Click Next to continue.
Select features & install location
The default selection is fine for our use case.
- Installation folder defaults to
C:\Program Files (x86)\iVMS-4200 Site. - Click Install to begin.

Wait for installation
The setup completes in around 2 minutes. Please don’t close the wizard during installation.
Finish & launch
When the wizard completes:
- Tick Create a Desktop Icon.
- Tick Launch Client.
- Click Finish.
Create a Super User
The application asks you to create a local super user for your computer.
- Enter a Super User Name and Password of your choice.
- Confirm the password.
- Tick Auto-Login if you would like the app to remember you.
- Click Log In.
This Super User is only on your computer — it’s separate from the camera credentials below.Set security questions
Select three security questions from the dropdowns and enter your answers. Click Log In to continue.
Choose Country / Region
In the top-right corner of the main interface, set the Country/Region to INDIA.
Log in with our credentials
On the login screen, enter:

Open the Main View
From the main dashboard, click the Main View icon.
The left panel lists our branches — open each folder to see the cameras under it:

Choose screen layout
At the bottom-right corner, click the layout icon and choose how many windows you want.
- Standard: 1, 4, 9, 13, 16, 25, 32, 36, 64.
- Wide: 4, 12, 16, 24, 36, 48.
For an overview of all cameras, choose 36 windows.
Start the live feed
Hover the cursor over any camera tile and click Live View.
The first time only, you will be asked for a stream key:
- Stream Key:

Enter it and click OK. The live camera feed will start playing.
After entering the stream key once, future feeds open instantly without asking again.- Stream Key:
View multiple cameras
To watch several cameras at the same time:
- Select the desired screen layout.
- From the left panel, pick the cameras you want.
- Click Live View on each — they will fill the empty tiles.
